Catch Your First Wave
Big adventures start in the sea. Join expert instructor Dan at Cove Surf for fun-filled surfing, paddleboarding and bodyboarding sessions designed especially for young adventurers aged 5+. Whether they’re standing up for the first time or building confidence in the waves, every session is safe, exciting and packed with smiles.
*Please note that Surf Lessons must be booked via Guest Services prior or upon arrival. Complimentary surfing lessons are subject to availability. All surf lessons are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to conditions.
Beach Activities
From Rock-Pooling to Pirate Caves
Our complimentary beach activities are the perfect way for little adventurers to discover the magic of Newquay’s coastline. Join our dedicated activities team to explore fascinating rock pools, uncover hidden caves, meet incredible beach creatures and enjoy fun-filled beach games.

Packed with arts and crafts, games, creative activities and themed adventures, Nico’s Kids Club is the place for little imaginations to run wild. Add arcade games, interactive consoles and plenty of new friends, and every visit becomes an adventure of its own. Nico’s runs daily through the school holidays.

Make a Splash
Dedicated family splash times are all about fun in the water. Enjoy the heated indoor pool, play together and burn off some energy before heading off for the next adventure. The perfect way to enjoy the spa as a family.

Pirates, Mermaids & Magical Tales
Gather by the coast and let imaginations set sail. Our storytelling sessions bring Cornwall’s legends to life with tales of pirates, mermaids and mysterious seas, creating magical moments for little explorers throughout the week.

Two new hotels, three new restaurants, hundreds of check-ins, a few too many cocktails and more sea-view photos than anyone could count.
We made waves in Newquay, slowed things down in the New Forest and went five-star in Bournemouth. Somewhere along the way, South Beach earned an AA Rosette and 100K of you joined us for the ride.
