Watersports Equipment with Shaka Surf
Staying with us this season comes with a little extra adventure. During weekends and school holidays from April through to September, hotel guests can enjoy complimentary hire of:

Whether you’re gliding across the water or catching your first wave, it’s your invitation to get out there and make the most of our coastal playground – relaxed, energising, and just a little bit exhilarating.
All equipment is hired from Shaka Surf. Available weekends and school holidays from April to September, subject to availability and weather conditions. One hour session per person, per day. During peak periods, usage is limited to designated a time slot from 9-11am. Wetsuits are not provided.

Ready to try something new? Join us on selected dates for complimentary surf lessons, designed for all levels – from first-timers to those looking to sharpen their skills.
Led by expert instructors and set against Bournemouth’s iconic coastline, it’s the perfect way to add a little adventure to your stay.

Breathe in the View
Outdoor Yoga on Ocean Deck
Finish the week with a moment of calm and connection on our Ocean Deck, where guided outdoor yoga sessions are held every Sunday at 10am.
Open to all guests, this session is designed to help you stretch, reset, and take in the fresh coastal air in a peaceful open setting. Whether you’re a regular practitioner or simply looking to unwind, it’s a gentle and grounding way to begin the day.
Complimentary yoga sessions take place every Sunday at 10am on Ocean Deck, subject to weather conditions and availability.
COCONUTS KIDS CLUB
The Home of On-Site Fun & Games
Coconuts Kids Club is open during school holidays for our little VIPs aged 4+. From arts and crafts to music and more, Coconuts will keep the kids entertained so you can enjoy some much needed peace and quiet, all thanks to local Children’s Entertainer, Minky Moos.

Bike Hire
Set out and discover the beauty of the local area with our complimentary adult bike hire for all hotel guest, available directly from the hotel.
Whether you’re following quiet country lanes, heading towards the coast, or simply enjoying a leisurely ride through the surrounding scenery, our bikes offer an easy and flexible way to make the most of your stay.
Private Cinema
If you’re a film buff, or get your kicks from Dolby surround sound, then our 13-seat cinema is just the ticket. Offering various daily screenings there is something for everyone, we even have popcorn and pick-n-mix.
The cinema is open from 9:00am to 10:00pm and screening details are available at reception. If you’re travelling as a group speak to the team about private hire.
Poolside Cabanas & Firepits
Where better to soak up the sunshine than at THE NICI? Our poolside cabanas and fire pits have it all. No really, they do. Fresh towels? Sorted. Arrival refreshments in your own cooler? Absolutely. Dedicated service from THE NICI team? Of course. A specially curated menu with everything from beverages to snacks? You betcha!
Stories Under the Stars
Storytelling Around the Firepits
Held every Wednesday at 6:30pm during the Summer Holidays, children are invited to settle in, get cosy, and enjoy a selection of imaginative tales shared fireside in a relaxed outdoor setting. It’s a gentle, engaging way to wind down the day, sparking creativity while enjoying the warmth and atmosphere of the firepits.
Open to all hotel guests, this complimentary session offers a memorable shared experience for families, bringing stories to life beneath the evening sky.
Storytime by the firepits takes place every Wednesday at 6:30pm during the summer holidays, subject to weather conditions and availability.
CHILDREN’S PLAYROOM
Travelling with the little ones? We’ve got you covered. There’s a Children’s Playroom with video games, books and board games to keep them amused. You’ll also find our Activity Centre in the garden which includes an outdoor ping-pong table, lawn croquet and various outdoor games and equipment. We also have a calendar of hosted children’s activities during the school holidays and half term. Our cinema has a children screening every day and if you’re dining in South Beach restaurant the team can provide colouring books and games to keep the children entertained.
The Children’s Playroom is open from 9.00am to 8.00pm and is unsupervised.

Outdoor Games
Step outside and enjoy a little friendly competition with our selection of outdoor games, available for all guests to use at their leisure.
From lively rallies at the table tennis table to thoughtful moves on the giant chess board, it’s a relaxed and social way to spend time outdoors. Whether you’re challenging family members or simply passing a few carefree moments in the fresh air, there’s something for all ages to enjoy.
