General

Where is THE NICI?

Finding us is easy. Simply put the following address into your sat nav: West Hill Road, Bournemouth, BH2 5EJ, and it will take you straight to our door! When you turn into West Hill Road, youโ€™ll find us immediately on the right-hand side.

Do you have parking at the hotel?

Yes! We want to make your stay as smooth and stress-free as possible, so we offer a valet parking service on arrival. When you pull up to the front of the hotel, our valet team will park the car for you and assist with your luggage. Please note: our valet service is first-come, first-served and charged at ยฃ27 per night.

Do you have an electric vehicle (EV) charging point?

We regret that there are currently no electric car charging points at the hotel, however there are several within 0.5 miles of the hotel.

What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in is from 3:00pm. If youโ€™re arriving later than 11:00pm, please let our reception team know by calling 01202 018555. Check-out is 11:00am.

Can I get early check-in/late check-out?

While we canโ€™t guarantee an early check-in, if you arrive early and your room is ready, itโ€™s all yours! Late check-out is available up until 12:00pm at a charge of ยฃ35.

Do you have dog-friendly rooms?

We love dogs at THE NICI and want to make sure your pup has a great holiday with us too! Both our Garden Suites and Courtyard Rooms are dog friendly. Your furry friend will be well looked after with its own bowl and bed provided. Please note there is an additional charge of ยฃ30 per dog, per night.

Is room service available?

When the bedโ€™s that comfy, why leave? Order delicious food and drink straight to your room at the push of a button. Simply dial 007. Weโ€™ll even bring your breakfast in bed! Our room service menu is available 24 hours with a full menu starting after 7:00am (breakfast); after 10:00pm we go to a limited menu.

Do you have interconnecting rooms?

Being together is easy at THE NICI. We have a great selection of adjoining rooms, you can view them here, or call our reservations team on 01202 018 555 and theyโ€™ll help you find the best room available for your group.

Can I have a cot or extra bed in my room?

Many of our rooms can accommodate cots and extra beds. Our extra beds are z-beds, suitable for small children under 10. Please contact reception for availability on 01202 018 555.

What do you offer for special occasions?

If youโ€™re celebrating a big birthday or anniversary during your stay, or need some extras for the room, we can help. From balloons, flowers or chocolates in your room, to Champagne on arrival or bespoke requests, itโ€™s all possible, just call our guest services team on 01202 018 555.

What is your cancellation policy?

Can I book an accessible room?

Fully accessible rooms will be available to book shortly. We currently offer rooms with walk-in showers and have a small lift to all floors of the hotel.


Restaurant and Bar

Iโ€™m not staying, can I still come for breakfast?

Yes! You are more than welcome to join us for breakfast in our South Beach Restaurant & Bar 7:00am-10:00am weekdays and 7:30am-10:30am on weekends. Please note that on busier days we may not be able to accommodate walk-ins.

Can I book a table for drinks?

No reservation is needed โ€“ just turn up and weโ€™ll find you a spot either on our pool view terrace, in our piano lounge or in South Beach Restaurant & Bar. Of course, lots of hotel guests and locals alike love to escape to THE NICI, so if it does fill up, weโ€™ll do our best to accommodate you and canโ€™t wait to welcome you.

What is the dress code for South Beach Restaurant & Bar?

Smart casual resort wear is the norm here at South Beach. Away from the spa or pool, please wear shoes and no pool attire (swimsuits, robes etc.) in the inside restaurant and bar areas.

Do you offer private dining?

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, you can share the love with THE NICI gift vouchers ยญ โ€“ available to buy on the Vouchers page on our website, or in person at reception.


Spa

Are there age restrictions at THE NICI Spa?

Spa Days: Those attending any of our Spa Days must be aged 16 years and over

Treatments: Those having treatments must be aged 16 years and over

Indoor Swimming pool: Children under 16 years must be supervised by an adult and are allowed during designated childrenโ€™s swim times.

Children Indoor Swim Times โ€“ 9:00 โ€“ 10:00 / 16:00 โ€“ 17:00

Children are allowed to use our outdoor pool at any time during the opening hours.

You must be a member, resident or spa day guest to use the spa facilities. You can not book use of the spa facilities without being a member, resident or spa day guest.

Is it possible to visit THE NICI Spa if I’m pregnant or post-natal?

It is vital that mothers-to-be advise us when making any treatment bookings so that we can advise which treatments we can offer you during the different stages of your pregnancy. If anything changes in between making your booking and time of treatment, please contact us so we can make the right changes to your treatment for you.

Please note if you are in your first trimester (under 12 weeks) we are only able to offer an Oskia Facial. After the first trimester we can offer pregnancy massage.

It is strongly recommended that the hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room are not used during any stage of pregnancy due to risk of overheating.

What is your cancellation policy?

Should you wish to cancel treatment, we kindly request 24 hoursโ€™ notice to avoid a cancellation charge. Cancellation with less than 24 hoursโ€™ notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50%. Full charges will be imposed for a โ€˜no showโ€™. Spa days are non-refundable, non-transferable, and full payment is required upfront. 


Facilities

Where can I work out?

From running machines and spin bikes, to free weights and yoga mats, our fully equipped gym is available during opening hours.

Do you have any facilities for children?

Thereโ€™s plenty to keep your little ones entertained. On our lower ground floor, youโ€™ll find a Cinema and Childrenโ€™s Playroom, stocked with electronic games, books, table football and board games.

How far are you from the beach?

Miles of award-winning golden sandy beaches are moments away. Follow the West Cliff Zig-Zag path or take the funicular lift, both are just a four-minute walk from our front door. Why not book a sea view room or suite for views across to Old Harry Rocks!

How far is the town centre?

Bournemouthโ€™s vibrant town centre is an easy 10-minute stroll from the hotel; ask our friendly reception team if you need directions or recommendations on what to see and do.
